Effective 10 May 2024, Winning Group a.s. announced the sale of its Plastics to a strategic investor.
The Plastics division is a leading manufacturer of surface treated plastics components for the Automotive industry with 6 plants in Diepersdorf, Gottmadingen, Gütersloh, Hustopeče, Lüdenscheid and Oberlungwitz. The combined sales of Plastics are 180 mio. EUR produced by 1.360 dedicated employees. Winning acquired the entities out of insolvency in 2021 and 2022 in two transactions.
“After the CoFo sale earlier this year we were focused on developing our remaining divisions, however, when this strategic investor approached us about acquiring the Plastics division, we quickly realized that a sale of the business is the best for Plastics as well as for us. Plastics is now part of a group with a global presence and ambitious expansion goals. For us, the sale further strengthens our financial profile and puts us in the position to act quickly when interesting M&A opportunities arise” , stated Sebastian Wagner, Chairman and CEO of Winning Group.

The parties have agreed not to disclose details of the transaction.
