Winning Group Holding a.s. is acquiring the Brno music club SONO, which also includes a restaurant and hotel. This acquisition marks the establishment of a new investment segment, Entertainment, which the company intends to develop and significantly expand in the future.
Holding Winning Group, best known for its companies in construction
and the automotive sector and for its support for ice hockey in Brno, is taking over the assets of the Brno-based SONO Centrum as of 1 February 2025.
SONO is one of the most modern and best-equipped music clubs in Central Europe and has hosted renowned domestic and international artists for over a decade. The Winning Group is making another significant investment in its Leisure & Services segment, where it already brings together the top Brno restaurants Vittorio Restaurant and Pavillon Steak House and is building a network of fitness centers under the Winning Fitness brand.
“We feel strong demand not only from the young generation for quality leisure activities, this segment will continue to grow in the coming years,” says Sebastian P. Wagner, CEO of Winning Group. “The SONO Centrum is undoubtedly one of the best concert halls in Central Europe, we are currently putting together a team of experts who will help us make it an even more important player in this field,” Wagner explains, adding that he has the same ambitions for the restaurant and hotel.
The first step will be developing a strategic concept for the club, hotel and restaurant, which will be implemented by the end of 2025. At the same time, Winning Group is working intensively on other opportunities in the segment.
